GODERICH, ONTARIO, April 17, 2009 – The 41st Annual Belmore Maple Syrup Festival held over the Easter weekend on April 9th and 11th. Over 7,000 people attended the 2 day event. The money raised at the festival goes to support minor sports, the local community centre and community projects.
On Saturday, Ben was on hand to help serve the delicious, made-from-scratch pancakes. Over 640kg of flour and 200 dozen eggs went into making the pancakes. Close to 20 bushels of apples went into the homemade applesauce and the sausage was provided courtesy of Green Melt Market. The festival was once again a huge success!
