GODERICH, ON With one week left before the 3rd Annual Hometown Heroes “Raise a Little Health” charity hockey game, Ben Lobb, Member of Parliament for Huron Bruce is happy to announce 5 new players to 2016 roster.

  • Jake Ringuette Defenceman for Lakehead University, from Goderich, ON

  • Michael Johnstone Forward for DEC Frillensee/Inzell in Germany from

    Southampton, ON

  • Keigan Goetz Right Winger for the Barrie Colts, from New Hamburg, ON

  • Jamie Huber Goderich native is a forward for the Listowel Cyclones

  • PJ Conlon Captain and Forward for the Victoria Grizzlies from Goderich, ON

    Other players who are hitting the ice include former Detroit Red Wings Forward and Stanley Cup Champion, Boyd Devereaux; former NHLer Dave McLlwain, current Buffalo Sabers Forward Ryan O’Reilly; and his brother Cal O’Reilly, who is also with the Buffalo Sabers.

    “Raise a Little Health” charity hockey game will be taking place on Thursday, July 21st in Goderich at the Maitland Recreation Centre with puck drop at 7pm. The goal is to raise $50,000 for three local organizations; the Goderich-Huron YMCA’s Strong Kids; Gateway Centre of Excellence in Rural Health; and Alexandra Marine & General Hospital.
