Ottawa, ONT, April 3, 2009 – Last Saturday Local MP Ben Lobb addressed a crowd of Carleton University Students at their Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the Campus Conservative Association speaking about grassroots politics.

The AGM featured seven speakers including Transport Minister John Baird.  The five hour event consisted of workshops, speakers and the first annual Carleton Campus Conservatives (CCC) awards.
 
The CCC created an award in recognition of Ben.  The Ben Lobb Award was presented to the Best New Member.  Ben was on hand to present the award to CCC member Aaron Lindgren.
